Beginners and early-career professionals frequently struggle with undefined career paths, limited access to practical guidance, isolation while learning or building, and a lack of real opportunities after acquiring a truckload of skills. At the Delta State Economic and Investment Summit 2026 in Asaba, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori announced that the state has set aside $100 million (about ₦133–137 billion) as a Viability Gap Fund. The money is already available; it is not borrowed, and it is meant to reduce investment risks, turn summit agreements into real projects, create jobs, and grow the economy beyond oil. Vice President Kashim Shettima, WTO Director-General Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, and other leaders welcomed the move. Okonjo-Iweala called it a practical step that can help position Delta as a serious industrial and investment destination. For the Warri Builders Network community and founders across the Niger Delta, this is more than a government announcement. It is a signal.

At Warri Builders Network, we believe the future belongs to those who build it. In this blog, we look at how stablecoin payments are growing fast in Nigeria and the real opportunities this creates for founders and developers in Warri and the Niger Delta.
