Jeremiah Omonefe is a Nigerian tech entrepreneur, Product Manager, and Designer from Udu LGA, Delta State. With a strong background in computer science, Jeremiah is the founder and CEO of Falconlite, a financial platform that enables individuals and small businesses to access global payments, receive and spend in USD and other currencies, and handle seamless currency conversions without leaving home. He leads a team that includes an experienced CTO in fintech, and together they are building infrastructure that bridges local realities with global opportunities. Jeremiah’s work is driven by a vision to give Africans the same financial freedom and tools available in developed markets. When he’s not building, he focuses on product strategy, team development, and growing the local startup ecosystem in the Niger Delta.

The Problem Many Nigerians and Africans face significant challenges with international transactions: - Limited access to global banking services - Difficulty spending foreign currency locally - Complex and unreliable currency conversion processes - Accounts being frozen or limited by platforms like PayPal - High barriers and fees for receiving payments from overseas clients These issues make life hard for freelancers, small businesses, and anyone trying to earn or send money across borders. The Solution: Falconlite Falconlite makes things much simpler. It’s a secure financial platform where you can open global accounts, receive payments from anywhere, hold and spend USD or EUR, convert currencies easily, and send money locally in Naira all from one secure system. Here’s what you can do with it: 1. Get USD virtual cards 2. Make local Naira payouts 3. Convert currencies quickly 4. Open USD and EUR virtual accounts and wallets 5. Send and receive money across borders without stress The long-term vision is to become the go-to financial infrastructure for Africans transacting globally. Building the Future Falconlite stands out because it was created from real problems Jeremiah faced himself, not by copying what others built abroad. Despite facing challenges like building a team with almost no funding and navigating complex regulatory requirements (including getting the MSB licence with FinCEN, incorporation in Nigeria and the US, and compliance), Jeremiah and his team have achieved impressive traction, processing over half a billion in transaction volume since inception. Advice for Aspiring Builders When asked what advice he would give to young founders, Jeremiah shared: “Start with a real problem you’ve experienced yourself. Build a strong team, stay compliant, focus on trust and execution, and always put your customers first. The market is big enough for more than one winner.” Try Falconlite Want to check it out?
