THE WBN STORY

We are no longer waiting for the future to come to Warri - we are building it ourselves! Warri Builders Network is a movement dedicated to creating a thriving tech and innovation ecosystem in Warri and the Niger Delta. What we do is to connect builders, startups, businesses, investors, and institutions through events, training, showcases, media, and structured support. From community meetups and conferences to ventures and startup support and training, WBN is building the infrastructure needed to turn our local talent into a global impact. It doesn't matter whether you’re a developer, founder, student, business owner, or investor; you are more than welcome to join us.

INTRODUCING WARRI BUILDERS NETWORK – BUILDING THE FUTURE FROM WARRI

For years, conversations about technology, innovation, and startups in Nigeria have focused on a handful of cities. Yet across Warri and the Niger Delta, talented builders have been quietly creating products, launching businesses, solving problems, and developing world-class skills. The challenge has never been talent. The challenge has been visibility, connection, and opportunity. Too many brilliant engineers, designers, founders, and creatives build in isolation. Startups struggle to find support networks. Businesses struggle to access technical talent. Great ideas often never reach the people who can help them grow. We believe that can change. Today, we are proud to introduce the Warri Builders Network (WBN) — a community, ecosystem, and institution dedicated to advancing technology, innovation, entrepreneurship, and digital talent development across Warri and the Niger Delta. We are not waiting for the future to arrive. We are building it from Warri.

Warri deserves real representation in Africa’s modern technology economy. We see talented individuals building in silence, startups facing scaling barriers, and traditional industries and SMEs lacking structured access to tech talent, leading to massive untapped potential and missed opportunities for Warri to function and drive regional transformation.

WHAT WE ACTUALLY DO WBN is creating the infrastructure and ecosystem that turns ideas into impact through the following: ➣ Community Events — Meetups, workshops, hackathons, fireside chats, and builder hangouts. ➣ Flagship Conferences — Including the Warri Builders Summit 2026 (This August, 2026), which is a major gathering for founders, investors, students, businesses, and ecosystem players to connect. ➣ Startup and Talent Showcases — Demo days, pitch competitions, portfolio exhibitions, and product launches. ➣ Industry Roundtables — Bridging tech talent with key sectors like oil & gas, agriculture, fintech, logistics, education, and health. ➣ Media and Storytelling — Spotlighting local founders, projects, and successes through interviews, reports, and campaigns.

We want to make Warri and the Niger Delta one of Africa’s leading emerging technology and startup ecosystems, recognised globally for innovation, talent, entrepreneurship, and solving real-life problems. We aim to build a thriving, innovative ecosystem by connecting builders, startups, businesses, institutions, investors, and communities through technology, collaboration, education, and opportunity.

WHY THIS MATTERS NOW Warri has the talent, grit, and problems worth solving. What has been missing is an organised infrastructure, visibility, and connections. WBN is that bridge. We’re creating a place where: ➣ Businesses access real local talent ➣ Builders find collaborators and opportunities ➣ Startups get mentorship, feedback, and exposure and ➣ Investors discover high-potential ventures from the Niger Delta.

It doesn't matter who you are, as there is a place for you and your ideas here. Let us connect talent, spark innovation, and show the world what Warri builders can do. It is time to BUILD https://warribuildersnetwork.com/join
